I Have Calmed and Quieted My Soul

A fitting reply to my anxieties expressed in my previous post..

Psalm 131:1-3

O LORD,
- my «heart» is not lifted up;
- my «eye» is not raised too high;
- my «mind» is not concerned  with things
– > too great for me.
– > too marvelous for me.

But

I have calmed my soul,
I have quieted my soul,
like a weaned child with its mother;
like a weaned child is my soul within me.

3 O Dennis,
– > put your hope      … in the LORD
– > place your hope   … in the LORD
– > lodge your hope   … in the LORD

from this time forth
             and
» forevermore «

Another ramble from a traveller
