There’s a new search engine! Some ex-googlites have come up with a clever idea, and while it lasts, it gives access to all the things googl missed because they weren’t popular… welcome CUIL! ( www.cuil.com )
It hasn’t hit everything I searched for, but its results are definitely wider afield.. just what I needed!
Long, long ago, (1996) in the days of hotbot as the only decent engine, I came across an article of silvering a mirror. The website owner said the book had been her grandmother’s and that she believed she ought to type it all in so that a record could exist of this book..
For years now I’ve searched for this book, but hope faded as Google put their energies into displaying whatever had been paid for first.
Now I have hope again… anyone heard of the book?
